Samsung luncurkan Samsung Galaxy Camera denga Android Jelly Bean

Setelah banyak isu-isu yang beredar, akhirnya Samsung benar-benar menluncurkan camera Android pertama. Dikenalkan dengan sebutan Galaxy Camera yang mengusung operation system Android terbaru dikenal sebagai Jelly Bean dan prosesor quad-core 1.4GHz.

Samsung menyatakan Galaxy Camera dilengkapi dengan fitur 21x optical zoom, sensor CMOS 16M BSI, dan 4.77inch HD Super Clear LCD.

Camera ini memiliki fitur teknologi 'Smart Pro', dengan navigasi menu yang mudah, pengguna hanya perlu memilih setingan pengambilan gambar, dan camera akan membuat gambar yang bagus.

Samsung Galaxy Camera ini pun dilengkapi dengan 35 fitur edit foto dengan 'Photo Wizard' yang hampir sama dengan 'Movie Wizard' yang memudahkan pengguna untuk membuat dan mengedit video dengan mudah.

Selain itu camera ini lengkapi dengan sistem 'Auto Cloud Backup' yang secara otomatis menyimpan gambar ke cloud melalui AllShare milik Samsung.

Satu lagi FujiFilm meluncurkan kamera Poket bergaya retro

Setelah rumor gambar mengenai FujiFilm X-E1 mengguncang pemberitaan di web, satu lagi camera vintage magnificence telah dibocorkan.

Telah ditampilkan gambar camera saku seri "X", kemungkinan camera kecil yang satu ini dikenal sebagai XP1 atau XF1, dengan fiture zoom lens dengan 4x faktor zoom, aperture f/1.8-4.9, dan pengendali ring di ujungnya.

Jika ini benar2 camera fujifilm yang baru di jajaran seri X dalam sensor dan performanya maka akan sangat bagus sekali. Tetapi apakan camera kecil ini akan memiliki sensor yang besar juga, seperti pendahulunya yang telah sukses.

Fuji mungkin akan mengeluarkan camera dengan gayanya sendiri dengan segmen konsumen pemula yang mencari kemudahan pengambilan gambar. Tapi sepertinya dipasaran camera fuji akan dijual dengan harga yang tidak murah.

Olympus perkenalkan 40x Ultra Zoom STYLUS SP-820UZ Camera

Olympus mengeluarkan camera terbarunya yang memiliki ultra zoom yaitu STYLUS SP-820UZ. Camera Olympus ini memang meng utamakan keandalan Ultra Zoom compact camera dan melengkapinya dengan kekuatan optical zoom. Olympus SP-820UZ iHS menawarkan 40x optical zoom (22.4-896mm). Pentax meluncurkan the All New X-5, kamera dengan 26x optical zoom dan fitur bagus lainny.

Perbesaran 26x optical zoom tersebut merupakan fitur ultra wide angle yang meliputi focal range dari 22.3 hingga 580mm di 35mm. Lensanya juga dilengkapi dengan fitur mode macro dengan minimum focus distance wcm, Pentax juga menawarkan gambar yang sharp serta sistem dual shake reduction.

Nikon meluncurkan camera Coolpix dengan sukungan Android

Nikon Coolpix S800c dengan 16 megapixel didukung Android Gingerbread yang harga retailnya sekitar $350.

Nikon memperkenalkan camera saku denga google Android mobile OS, memberikan pengalaman camera saku dengan kemampuan seperti smartphone, tanpa kemampuan melakukan panggilan. Camera ini dikenal dengan nama Nikon Coolpix S800c yang dilengkapi dengan 16 megapixel dan kemampuan Wi-Fi.

Camera Nikon terbaru ini sama dengan camera saku biasa, namun dengan Android 2.3 GingerBread yang memiliki access pada Google Play. Sehingga apabila anda tidak sedang memotret, anda dapat bermain dan membaca e-book. all review--Although protective cases for digital cameras are usually not required for obvious reasons, unless you are one who partakes in underwater shots, there are moments in life when you need to carry your sensitive equipment to less than safe places – at least, not in environments that your DSLR is used to. For instance, if you were to head out to the great wilderness, a foam case would do some good to prevent the lens from getting scratched, but if you were to experience a fall, then the DSLR is not going to get much protection – which is where the Cam Crate idea over at Kickstarter comes in handy. Basically, the Cam Crate is meant to be a hardened case for any full size DSLR alongside its attached lens.

On the outside, you will find it made out of hard, molded plastic, while the inside comprises of soft foam, complete with a water seal and latch to make sure nothing wet or humid will be able to make it through. The Cam Crate ought to be tough enough to fall down on a rock or dropped without missing a beat, and heck, since it floats, you won’t have any issue bringing it across the rapids. Lumix GX1 – a Pretty Impressive Micro Four Thirds Camera for the Traveling Professional

all review--Panasonic's Lumix line of digital cameras are among the best in the world - not only is their TZ/ZS travel series winning most of the awards every year for the past half-decade, but now the GH1 and GH2practically dominate the affordable hybrid still/video cameras market (Canon seems to be holding the high end share, but the GH2 is remarkably close to their top of the line DSLR when it comes to video shooting, at least).

The company's Lumix GF line of cameras is aimed at point and shoot owners who might be tempted to upgrade to something better, but are afraid of all the complexities involved with having a "real" dSLR camera, with the size and control difficulty being one of the main issues. Ironically, the GF1 has gained quite a popularity with the professional crowd instead (not that beginners don't like it - it's pretty successful with them, too), and while they found quite a few drawbacks in the first model, the compact interchangeable lens camera quickly became the favorite for frequent travelers that didn't want to take all their pro gear with them.

Most of them hoped for better professional features in the following models, but that did not happen with the GF2 nor GF3, which are even smaller and simpler (yet still advanced underneath) than the GF1. To address the enthusiast market, Panasonic decided to release the GX1 - a camera aimed squarely at professionals who need an ILC and don't want to lug around their full-sized monster SLRs.

The Lumix GX1 looks quite a lot like the GF series, more specifically the bigger GF1, although it has a few distinguishable features, as well. You'd be hard pressed to differentiate between the two at a first glance if not for the model inscription on the front, although a closer look at the back of the device reveals quite a few changes, the most important one being that the GX1 now has a touch screen and less external buttons for controlling the various functions. The basic layout and control logic is the same as with most other cameras, though, so you won't have any trouble just picking up the camera and starting shooting.

The biggest changes are on the inside, however. The GX1 uses the same 16 megapixels APS-C sensor as its bigger brother, the G3, only here it has a maximum ISO of 12,800 - pretty impressive for a compact camera. Aside from taking some very impressive photos (well, depending on the lens you use), the camera can also shoot HD video in 1920×1080 pixels resolution at 30 FPS. The stereo microphone array is just as good as the one on the GH1/GH2 or any other Lumix camera, for that matter (there is no external mic input, though).

Another new addition specifically to the GX1 is the LVF2 accessory, which has a higher resolution and magnification and also uses a new port for transferring the live feed, making it incompatible with other Lumix cameras or the LVF1 (so you'll have to buy it regardless of whether you already have the first model). The GX1 comes with a 7.3 W/hr battery that should last about 300 shots or 1 hour ofHD video, and with support for SDXC cards, you won't be running out of space anytime soon.

With the GF3 now being impossibly simple for a real professional to use, it is clear that the GX1 is the way to go for enthusiasts who need a real DSLR's features in a compact body for traveling without a huge bag of accessories. ibtimes

Most point-and-shoot cameras are now small enough to fit in your pocket or purse without a second thought, but if you’ve wisely invested in an expensive DSLR camera or a micro-four-thirds style, you’ll want to buy some sort of bag or carrying case to protect your camera and keep all of your cords, SD cards, and other accessories neatly organized. We’ve narrowed down the pack to some of our favorites in a few categories. There are smaller bags and camera inserts available on the market or giant professional suitcases to hold 5-6 cameras, but we’ve given you our picks that fall somewhere in the middle and would appeal to your average DSLR photographer. Pick up any of these selections and we think you’ll have made a wise choice. 

Classic

These bags all have a classic photographer look to them that give a sense of heritage in place of modern fabrics and design. This sleek sling bag comes in modern gray and features enough room to store a DSLR kit with lenses, faux-fur lined pockets for a point-and-shoot camera and an iPad, and a removable rain fly. 

While Crumpler makes camera-specific bags in a variety of handy sizes, we particularly like the versatile 5 Million Dollar Home ($85), which is the right size for most DSLR photographers, allowing room for a DSLR kit as well as several lenses. The bag also features velcro silencers, outer accessory loops, and durable 900D Cordura fabrication. 

For women who want a simple, fun bag to protect their cameras (or guys who aren’t afraid of color), we’re a fan of the Camera Daypack ($60) from our friends over at the Photojojo store. The durably nylon bag (available in purple or blue) has padded mesh lining and just enough room for one DSLR and one lens or external flash, but has 5 other pockets for smaller essentials.

Heavy-duty

You may still consider yourself an amateur photographer, but if you’ve got more than one camera body and a handful of lenses and flashes, you’re going to need a heavy-duty camera bag with some extra room. These picks are for those of your who need more than just small shoulder bag to haul all your gear.
